Drivetime

"Drivetime" is our customary one-time 30 mile round trip drive from Culver City to the Valley and back. The route that we take on this round trip gives us a great idea of how the vehicles operate and feel under different driving conditions (Freeway, streets, stop and go traffic, uphill, and side streets). It also allows us the opportunity to test electrical components to ensure that we find every, if any at all, faults with the vehicles. Although each of these cars go through and pass a very rigorous inspection process, we like to take them out to make sure we have all the bases covered.

2005 Kia Sedon LX Report

Engine: The engine sounds great. Felt a very subtle hiccup when the car is idle. The 2005 Kia Sedona LX accelerates perfectly fine and there is no lagging or pull when going at a higher velocity.

UPDATE: Took to the KIA dealership to diagnose the idle hiccup and asked them to run an inspection to see if there were any other issues with the 2005 Kia Sedona LX (Still under manufacturers warranty). The idle sensor (a minor issue) wasn't reading properly. New sensor installed at dealership! No more hiccups, feels like new! Was told that the rest of the car was in great condition.

Transmission: Shifts like it should. No hard shifts, and tight - no problems to report!

Electrical components: Power windows roll up and down at a nice and consistent speed. Power door locks work perfectly fine. Radio sounds really good and the settings on the radio dash are all working, CD Player works. The speakers sound great and theres no distortion or static coming from them. Turn signals work just fine and the lights (front and rear) are working.

Air Conditionioning: Ice cold A/C and heater works like it should in front and back.

Brakes and Tires: 90% tread on tires and brakes are at about 80%. No squeaking.

Purchase Options: Cash, bank drafts (securing your own financing). Competitive financing options available.

OTHER: No issues to report other than the little idle hiccup, which is now fixed! Qualifies for the "Lifetime Engine Warranty".
